UX-P160W White Pigment Printer

The UX-P is a specialised addition to Hitachi’s UX Series of continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers, crafted for high-contrast marking on dark surfaces with top quality pigmented inks. The Hitachi’s UX-P retains all the advantages of the UX series, including an intuitive interface, durable design, and waste minimising cartridges. Additi onally, it features enhancements aimed at boosting efficiency and minimising downtime for pigment-based printing. Features include:

High-Performance Printing: The Hitachi UX-P printer supports up to six separate printing lines, accommodating prints of up to 1,000 characters, with a print rate of 2,083 characters per second.

Standby Ink Circulation and Airless Stirring: To prevent ink settling and agglomeration, the UX-P’s Magitate technology uses a magnetic stirrer for ink circulation without a compressed air system. This allows ink to circulate even in standby mode, reducing filter and nozzle clogging and minimising potential downtime.

Easy-to-Use Interface: Equipped with a full colour 10.4″ TFT LCD touchscreen and a simple WYSIWYG interface, the UX-P provides intuitive parameter illustrations and enables key information to be reviewed and adjusted on a single screen.

Economical Easy-Drain Cartridge System: The UX-P’s ink and makeup cartridges can be replaced easily without halting production. They ensure complete fluid evacuation, utilizing even the last drop. Sealed after removal, the empty cartridges prevent hazardous solvent escape.

Robust Performance in Challenging Environments: The UX-P’s stainless steel cabinet meets IP65 standards, offering total dust protection and low-pressure water jet resistance from any direction. This makes it suitable for diverse production environments and both high and low-temperature conditions.

Low Total Cost of Operation and Ownership: The UX-P’s design maximises longevity by allowing individual component replacement of the printhead, reducing the need for costly sub-assemblies. Preventative maintenance items are also individually replaceable, avoiding unnecessary replacement of complete ink circuits or ink cores and further cutting costs.
